π Alur Cerita
Pasal 1-3: Perang Dimulai
Nebukadnezar memerintahkan Holofernes untuk menaklukkan bangsa-bangsa yang menolak membantunya dalam perang melawan Media.
Pasal 4-7: Pengepungan Bethulia
Holofernes mengepung Bethulia. Penduduk mulai putus asa karena kekurangan air dan makanan.
Pasal 8-10: Yudit Mengambil Tindakan
Yudit, seorang janda yang saleh, memarahi para pemimpin dan memutuskan untuk menyelamatkan kota.
Pasal 11-13: Rencana Yudit
Yudit menyamar dan memasuki kemah musuh, berhasil mempengaruhi Holofernes dan membunuhnya.
Pasal 14-16: Kemenangan Israel
Tentara Asiria melarikan diri setelah kehilangan jenderal mereka. Israel merayakan kemenangan.
